چکیده

To asses wind potential in complex terrain three dimensional non-hydrostatic models become more and more popular. These models are capable of taking into account the flow pattern in complex terrain. Numerical flow models usually are quite complicated in the modelling itself and experiences on the impact of model parameters are limited. Especially the accuracy of predictions with these models for wind energy applications is still questionable. This paper presents results from numerous calculations using the meso scale model GESIMA for an area of 47 74 km. The calculations are verified using wind speed measurements and wind power data from wind turbines placed in the area of interest. For practical use a criterion for numerical convergence of the model and its unsecurity of results is derived. Sensitivity analysis on the variation of the most important input parameters shows well reproducable results for different model parameters. To reduce computing resources several strategies to speed up the calculations are discussed and first results presented.

Improving an Accuracy of ANN-Based Mesoscale-Microscale Coupling Model by Data Categorization: With Application to Wind Forecast for Offshore and Complex Terrain Onshore Wind Farms

The ANN-based mesoscale-microscale coupling model forecasts wind speed and wind direction with high accuracy for wind parks located in complex terrain onshore, yet some weather regimes remains unresolved and forecast of such events failing. The model's generalization improved significantly when categorization information added as an input. The improved model is able to resolve extreme events an...

بررسی جریان‌های محلی روی تهران با استفاده از مدل میان مقیاس WRF و شرایط جوی ایده‌آل

Wind is the carrier of pollutants and any other gaseous or particle matters in the atmosphere. Stable atmosphere with low wind provides favourable conditions for high contamination of pollutants in urban areas. The importance of mesoscale atmospheric flows in air pollution dispersion has been recognized in the past three decades and has been the focus of intensive research both observational ...

P-28: The Effect of Hydrostatic Pressure on the In vitro Maturation of Preantral Follicles Derived from Polycystic Ovaries in Mouse Model

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a multifactorial, heterogeneous, complex genetic endocrine and metabolic disorder, diagnostically characterized by chronic anovulation, polycystic ovaries and biochemical and clinical manifestations of hyperandrogenism. In patients with PCOS lower apoptotic rates found in granulosa cells compared to women with regular ovulatory cycles and this lea...

بررسی پارامترسازی عمق لایه پایدار شبانه و تاثیر آن در آلودگی هوای یک منطقه شهری با توپوگرافی پیچیده (تهران)

Mixing height of the atmospheric boundary depends on the vertical variation of temperature in the atmosphere which includes temperature inversion (including surface and elevated inversions) that has a significant effect on air quality. The mixing height like some other meteorological variables has diurnal variations. The reason for that is its dependence on some other basic meteorological param...
